Vintage Goodyear 10 Year Bronze Metal Award Plaque Highway Garage McArthur, CA

ITEM DESCRIPTION:
This plaque was presented to a family member on his garage's 10th year anniversary selling Goodyear products.  The garage is the Highway Garage in McArthur, California. The garage was opened in 1924 by Bert Thatcher.  It measures 17-1/2" tall and 12-1/4" wide.  It is made by Medallic-Art-Co of New York.  It is made of very heavy metal, most likely bronze.  It has darkened but does still have some of that higher tone bronzey/gold color.  It has not been touched up.  The 1930's age of the plaque is a guess if he started with Goodyear when he opened the garage.
ITEM CONDITION:
Previously owned and displayed in the garage.
The relief on the design is very high.
There is wear on the edges and some green patina in those wear areas.
